Nepal Clearing House Limited (NCHL) has finalized the acquisition of Nepal Electronic Payment Systems Limited, as per the agreement dated Chaitra 22, 2080. Approved by Nepal Rastra Bank and the Company Registrar, this acquisition paves the way for integrated business operations under the name of “Nepal Clearing House Limited” starting from Jestha 21, 2081.
The acquisition agreement, signed on Chaitra 22, 2080, between Nepal Clearing House Limited and Nepal Electronic Payment Systems Limited, received final approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and the Company Registrar. Following a special resolution passed during a general meeting on Jestha 13, 2081, and subsequent approval letters from regulatory authorities, Nepal Clearing House Limited will now operate Nepal Electronic Payment Systems Limited under its banner.
The registered office of the organization will be located in Bagmati Province, Kathmandu District, Kathmandu Metropolitan City Ward No. 28. The integration aims to streamline operations and enhance efficiency in the payment system industry.
NCHL assures customers, shareholders, regulatory agencies, and all stakeholders that necessary arrangements have been made to ensure seamless continuity of payment services during the integration process. No disruptions are anticipated during data migration and other transitional activities.
