Nepal SBI Bank Limited (SBI) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Esewa Limited to enhance Esewa’s digital wallet, network, merchant payment, and money transfer services.
This partnership will allow SBI customers to transfer funds to eSewa wallets via various banking channels and facilitate real-time merchant payments on the eSewa platform. The MoU was signed by senior executives from both organizations, with key officials in attendance.
SBi, which operates 97 branches, 22 extension counters, 7 provincial offices, 1 corporate office, and 121 ATMs, aims to strengthen its digital financial solutions through this collaboration.
