The House of Representatives (HoR) is scheduled to pass the budget for the next fiscal year 2081/82 on Ashad 07 (June 21). According to the Federal Parliament Secretariat’s fortnightly parliamentary calendar, the Appropriation Bill will be presented to the House for a decision on this date.

On Jestha 15, Finance Minister Barshaman Pun proposed a budget of Rs. 18 Kharba 60 Arba 30 Crores. General discussions on the budget have been concluded, and deliberations on the ministerial budgets commence today.

Today’s agenda includes discussions on the budgets for the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security, and the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development. These discussions will continue until Ashad 07, when the budget is anticipated to be passed.
