The inaugural Nepal Mango Fest 2081, held from June 21-23, 2024, was a significant success, highlighting Nepal’s agricultural heritage and benefiting local farmers.

The festival, hosted at Walnut Bistro, Panipokhari, attracted 10,000 visitors and sold 32,000 kg of mangoes across four sales venues.

Various mango varieties were featured, and the event included informative sessions with experts, workshops, and a mango-eating competition.

The festival concluded with plans for future agricultural events and a call for government support to enhance Nepal’s agricultural sector and promote food innovation.

The event positively impacted over 40-50 farmers, providing higher income opportunities.
